Position Overview:

As part of the talented Maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of equipment and facilities. This role combines technical expertise with maintenance planning practices to optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, improve maintenance efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Develop, optimize, and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance plans and schedules to support operational needs.
• Review maintenance requests, create executable work orders, and ensure all labor, materials, tools, permits, and resources are identified and available.
• Analyze equipment failures, support root cause investigations, recommend reliability improvements, and assist with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate asset records, maintenance histories, bills of materials, preventive maintenance procedures, and performance metrics within the CMMS.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores personnel to ensure spare parts availability, optimize inventory levels, and develop strategies for critical and long-lead spares.
• Assist with asset lifecycle management, capital improvement projects, and maintenance strategies for critical equipment.
• Optimize labor utilization, contractor effectiveness, and maintenance resource allocation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support monitoring and control of plant fluids and utilities, including coolant, oils, and wastewater systems.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including LOTO, confined space, hot work permits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, reliability, and operational excellence through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Post High School schooling/Associates Degree related to Maintenance and/or Engineering, including Electromechanical and Engineering Studies preferred,

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or industrial operations. Skilled Trades Certification a plus.

• Experience using CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, Oracle, or similar systems.

• Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.

• Knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance processes, and engineering principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.

• Project Management or Lean/Six Sigma certification.

• Experience in manufacturing, utilities, transportation, facilities management, or heavy industrial environments.

• Familiarity with reliability methodologies including FMEA, RCA, and RCM.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $73,600 - $106,200, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
