Full Job Description
In this role as an Equipment Maintenance Technician III, your primary responsibility will be maintaining production infrastructure including packaging, filling and processing equipment in a regulated environment. You will be part of our PM program and inspection processes.You will also support other groups to maintain the facility including production and utility equipment, in order to meet product quality and production schedule requirements. This position is key to ongoing preventive maintenance and management of all infrastructure systems and building equipment including purpose-built machinery. Position may have "On Call" duties for after-hours equipment emergencies during packaging of perishable products.Maintenance Mechanic III is also a position with growth potental. Their diligance helps maintain the daily activities and provides feedback to others in the department, production, and engineering. They assist management with specific tasks including spare parts inventory and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Performs scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, fills out PM check sheets, signs and dates equipment tags and logs tasks into computer maintenance management software.
  • Responsible for maintaining chart recorders and log books in a GMP environment.
  • Assists in Capital Improvement Projects with other mechanics and engineering, prepping areas, and supporting normal business activities.
  • Assist other Maintenance Associates with daily tasks.

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 5+ years working with electro/mechanical systems, High-speed filling and packaging line repair experience and/or automated equipment preferred.
  • Critical spare parts inventory management experience is required.
  • Experience working in a highly-regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, aerospace, military contractor, pharmaceutical is preferred
  • Effiective communication skills with internal colleagues and external equipment support resources such as factory service agents and supply houses.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and able to navigate computerized maintenance management and documentation control programs.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $32.59 to $44.85 per hour, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
