Job Description

Position Summary:

Supervises maintenance activities including workflow coordination, employee support, scheduling, issue resolution, reporting, and daily operational oversight while coordinating daily operations, supporting employee performance, and ensuring effective execution of departmental activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily maintenance operations to ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled tasks using maintenance management systems.
  • Allocate resources and assign work orders to maintenance personnel based on skill sets and operational priorities.
  • Monitor maintenance workflow and adjust schedules to optimize team productivity and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Resolve escalated technical and operational issues by coordinating with engineering and quality assurance teams.
  • Oversee compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Prepare and review maintenance performance reports to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Support employee development through coaching, performance evaluations, and training needs assessment.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to ensure availability of necessary parts and tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage communication between maintenance staff and other departments to align operational objectives and resolve conflicts.
  • Enforce adherence to maintenance documentation standards and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and inspections.
  • Lead incident investigations related to maintenance activities and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage maintenance schedules and workflows using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures relevant to aerospace or defense equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices applicable to maintenance operations in an industrial environment.
  • Capability to analyze maintenance performance data and generate actionable reports for operational decision-making.
  • Experience in supervising and developing maintenance personnel, including conducting performance reviews and training.
  • Skill in coordinating cross-functional activities involving maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Education:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Experience:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical disciplines such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM).
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies applied to maintenance process optimization.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance standards relevant to aerospace maintenance such as AS9100 or FAA Part 145.
  • Advanced knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and corrective action implementation.


For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $92,000.00 to $138,200.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
