The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our GlencoreSudbury Integrated Nickel Operations.

This is a full-time, permanent, staff position.

Range of Pay: $119,000 to $133,000 (includes annual variable compensation bonus).

This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.

Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Smelter Maintenance GF, the Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of trades personnel so that budgetary targets are met or exceeded regarding safety and health, production, metallurgical and quality performance, operating economics, environmental compliance and productivity.

Education and Skills

This position requires the completion of related trades certification and a minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The incumbent must possess excellent leadership abilities and communication skills as well as troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage a variety of functions simultaneously. This role requires a solid understanding of plant operations to effectively support safe, efficient, and reliable production. A degree in mechanical engineering or related field would be considered an asset.
