Full Job Description
Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full time, on-site position based at our Roxboro, NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available for those within the US/PR.

The Maintenance Supervisor at Eaton's Roxboro, NC facility, within the Mobility Group North America organization, leads a team of Maintenance Technicians to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime, product quality, and operational performance.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and direct maintenance technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and effective execution of all maintenance activities.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance based on production requirements, equipment reliability, and business needs.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring proactive maintenance activities are planned, scheduled, and completed on time.
  • Analyze maintenance metrics, equipment performance, and downtime data to identify reliability improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to evaluate equipment performance, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts for equipment failures and unplanned downtime, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate maintenance support for a wide range of production equipment, including CNC machines, grinders, assembly equipment, furnaces, washers, welders, conveyors, fans, motors, pumps, and inspection systems.
  • Manage maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history to support effective planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and resources required for maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors supporting plant projects, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, housekeeping, and company policy requirements.
  • Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Establish staffing plans, provide employee coaching and development, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Review the quality and effectiveness of repairs and maintenance activities to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associates Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in an industrial maintenance role in manufacturing OR a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years experience in an industrial maintenance role in manufacturing
  • Minimum (3) years of team leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
