Job DescriptionYour Role at KIKJoin our team as a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor (Monday - Friday with OT as needed 4:00pm - 2:30am), where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You'll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. What You'll Do- Directs the maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise.
- Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
- Reviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.
- Ensures quality of work adhering to all safety standards.
- Ensure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan.
- Works with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator's performed maintenance duties are facilitated.
- Works with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned.
- Enforce environmental regulations.
- Focuses downward and is highly visible in the field.
- Champions proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance.
- Administers encouragement and discipline to direct employees.
- Monitors the CMMS.
- Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Works with procurement and external vendors for the purchase of supplies, parts, and obtaining competitive bids for equipment.
- Monitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors.
- Develops standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages.
- Manage the maintenance team's maintenance budget.
What You'll Bring- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- 2 or more years of people leadership or supervisory experience
- Previous hands-on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming
- Excellent reading, writing and math skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Be able to read blueprints.
- Basic computer skills using Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies.
- Must be willing to work off shift hours (as needed)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus or commission target. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.
