Maintenance Sector Manager (Experienced Professional)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join the team shaping the future of logistics at U70 in Woodruff, SC - Michelin's largest and only fully automated logistics facility. Processing up to 3.5 million tires per month across more than 80 acres of covered operations

U70 is a strategic site at the forefront of automation. As we build a new maintenance organization and modernize our control systems, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a world-class facility while helping define the next level of operational excellence.

Lead a team to ensure the availability, durability of equipment in its sector and optimize the maintenance cost and energy in a continuous improvement approach. Enable the operation to achieve its goals of safety, quality, quantity, costs, and deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Risks Prevention Plan is applied, safety requirements are taken into account (Personnel and equipment)
• The maintenance stategy is applied to equipment criticality
• Maintenance plans are implemented, and include the process influent parameters (including contribution to the control of the process by the implementation, application and evolution of maintenance plans).
• Effectiveness of interventions is continuously optimized (Analysis of maintenance results and implementation of necessary actions in a dynamic of continuous progress over short and medium term horizons (Week / Month)
• Maintenance cost is optimized (operational efficiency, energy and spare parts consumption
• The steps and tools of MMW and standard in orderliness and cleanliness are applied.
• The durability of equipment is ensured, in particular by dealing with obsolescence cases
• Resources are adapted (Competency and quantity), Training and succession plans are created

What you will bring
  • 3-5 years prior maintenance management experience
  • Confirmed leadership of teams, have examples of the ability to facilitate progress
  • Technical degree is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast paced warehousing or manufacturing environment
  • Consistent record of development of people through coaching and mentoring and establishment of development plans
