Full Job Description
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for installing, repairing and optimizing the operation of a variety of electrical equipment - three phase motors and controls, conduit and wiring, and automation. Will diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective controls, test and make adjustments, as required. Prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.
Pay Rate: $36.63/hour to $45.79 depending on hire date to the plant

Follow standard operating procedures and life critical permit procedures
Basic industrial electrical skills to include running conduit, pulling wire, and working with 3 phase motors and motor controls.
Run conduit, pull cable, run pneumatic tubing along with periodically pulling control valves for repair.
Assists with maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of plant pneumatics and electronic instrumentation; types of electronic instruments include pH, conductivity, level, flow, temperature, and pressure equipment.
Assists with calibration, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting instrumentation and equipment to ensure conformance to established calibration standards.
Trouble shooting and repair to PLC's, VFD's, interlock testing, electric heat tracing.
Troubleshoot all processes when problems arise or to prevent problems from arising
Performs timely and effective electrical maintenance and repair on running operations
Must be able to maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance program for instrumentation and electrical systems.
Help out with all maintenance projects as needed
Notify supervision of problems that require attention
Other work as directed by supervisor
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a chemical plant working on electrical equipment.
Experience working in a PSM and RMP chemical plant.
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance, Six Sigma, 5S, RCFA, FMECA or RCM
