Location: Dallas ,TX It is a hybrid role in Dallas ,TX Job Description 'We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in IMS DB2 and Mainframe Application Development The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing testing enhancing and supporting missioncritical applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms Key Responsibilities Design develop test and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL JCL IMS and DB2 Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Develop and enhance online and batch processing applications Create and optimize DB2 queries stored procedures and database access strategies Design maintain and support IMS databases and transaction processing systems Perform unit testing integration testing and defect resolution Prepare technical documentation design specifications and operational proceduresPreferred Qualifications Experience in Retail Banking Cards Payments or Insurance domains Exposure to Mainframe modernization initiatives Familiarity with tools such as Endevor Changeman FileAID AbendAID and Syncsort Knowledge of performance tuning and SQL optimization The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 61087 to 104364 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
