ResponsibilitiesTelecommunication | Mainframe COBOL Developer- Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications on mainframe systems, ensuring business-critical functionality is preserved during migration.
- Analyze legacy COBOL codebases to identify modernization and migration requirements for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Lead code refactoring or replatforming efforts, ensuring COBOL programs are compatible with cloud-based architectures.
- Work with data, infrastructure, and cloud teams to migrate datasets and integrate COBOL workloads with GCP services.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning of migrated COBOL applications to ensure reliability and scalability.
