We are looking for a talented IndustrialElectrician - Level III- 3rd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Ensuring Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Your adherence to HSE standards and prompt reporting of any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will ensure compliance and enhance workplace safety.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Recognizing the environmental impact of your work and striving to minimize negative effects will contribute to sustainable practices.
  • Quality Craftsmanship: Applying high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship will ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and processes.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and supporting equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis will help maintain operational efficiency.

Education

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • One of the following minimum requirements:
    - At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or
    - A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Ability to provide training, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production.

- A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years' experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyance systems, CNC equipment, and automation required.
  • Responsible for completing machine layouts and machine installations.

$2.29 shift premium in addition to base pay
