Full Job Description
About the Team and Role:

The M&A Integration Project Manager is a results oriented, tactical leader on our agile M&A team. In this role, you are a hands on implementer responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of specific functional or horizontal workstreams!

As a Level 26 Project Manager, you sit at the vital intersection of strategy and execution! You will lead groups of peers and leaders through moderately sized projects and smaller deals, such as talent acquisitions. You will ensure that every task focuses on delivering an outstanding experience for partners and customers. You are the link between the high level deal vision and the frontline reality, ensuring business continuity while driving toward alignment!

What You Will Accomplish:

Workstream Ownership and Strategy
  • Set the Strategy: Be responsible for the end to end plan, communication strategy, and execution for specific workstreams, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead Through Influence: Empower and guide a group of peers and functional leaders to improve output and engagement in a short timeframe.
  • Tactical Execution: Act as a hands on implementer responsible for project logistics, day to day coordination, and detailed data gathering to ensure all landmarks are met.
  • Value Discovery: Pursue an in depth understanding of value drivers and harmonies for smaller deals and specific workstreams within larger, more sophisticated global deals.
Program Management and Operational Excellence
  • Participate in Diligence: Partner with functional teams and Corporate Development to drive confirmatory integration diligence and ensure a seamless handoff to integration.
  • Establish Rhythm: Set the program operating rhythm to maintain high energy, motivation, and clarity.
  • Process Innovation: Identify and champion opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes that result in material efficiency gains.
  • RASCI and Governance: Make critical decisions within the RASCI framework and proactively raise blockers to senior management to resolve issues quickly.
Coaching and Culture
  • Team Guidance: Coach workstream teams on project planning to ensure their tactical outputs align with the broader M&A strategy.
  • Promote Stability: Create a program culture of operational stability that encourages teams to be self regulating, clear, and focused on business results.
  • Situational Fluency: Exhibit the ability to shift resources in response to unexpected deal changes or market shifts, coaching others on handling ambiguity.

What you Will Bring:
  • Direct M&A Experience: 3+ years of experience specifically in M&A Integration, ideally focusing on small to medium sized deals.
  • Professional Background: 8+ years of professional related work experience (or Master degree + 6 years / Doctorate + 4 years).
  • Education: BS/BA degree in a related field required.
  • Project Mastery: Proficient in M&A program management principles with the ability to independently lead mid sized workstreams.
  • Communication: Sophisticated situational fluency; able to facilitate high stakes cross functional decisions and reconcile challenging priorities across business units.
  • Analytical Attitude: Highly skilled in using data to track progress and identify blind spots in the integration approach.
  • Required Behaviors
  • Learning Mindset: Brings a foundational understanding of M&A principles while remaining eager to adapt to the unique needs of every deal.
  • Values Based Leadership: Proven ability to promote teamwork, establish trust, and reward decision making based on company Purpose and Values.
  • Conflict Management: Proactively manages conflict to protect team morale and results.
  • Respect and Integrity: Gives the same respect to managed teams as is asked of them.

Interview Process:
Case Based Interview and Portfolio Review Candidates will participate in a comprehensive, practical interview designed to assess both past performance and future potential:
  • Project Samples: Be prepared to walk through a specific project plan or integration deliverable you have managed in the past. We will discuss how you structured sophisticated tasks, navigated roadblocks, and ensured business continuity.
  • Live Integration Scenario: You will be presented with a mid sized integration case and asked to outline a tactical workstream plan. We will evaluate your ability to identify key risks, establish a work rhythm, and prioritize customer value under pressure.
