Full Job Description
MSM North America is hiring an M&A Analyst to support corporate development and transaction activity for CSG Defense North America in the Arlington, VA area.

This role will work closely with senior leadership and CSG's international M&A organization to evaluate potential transactions and support M&A activity from initial analysis through diligence and execution.

The position offers significant exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to work on complex transactions within a growing international defense organization.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate potential transactions. Conduct company and industry research, financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling to support investment decisions.
  • Support M&A execution. Assist with transaction screening, due diligence, process management, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Develop decision materials. Prepare clear, concise analyses, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Conduct market and industry research. Analyze relevant market trends, public information, government budgets, contracts, and other data to inform transaction evaluation.
  • Improve M&A processes. Support pipeline management, reporting, transaction tracking, and the continued development of effective M&A processes and tools.

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience evaluating companies, transactions, or investment opportunities.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing materials for senior executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.

Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, manufacturing, or another regulated industry is preferred. Experience with transaction diligence, government-related market research, or cross-border transactions is also beneficial.
