Job Description

HII is seeking an experienced Logistics Team Lead to support financial processing, audit compliance, logistics coordination, inventory control, and multi system database operations. The Team Lead will oversee daily logistics and financial workflows, support high volume audit documentation requirements, and ensure accurate and compliant reconciliation across multiple logistics and financial systems. The role ensures readiness and support to high tempo operational logistics environments, including activities aligned with NSW/SOF support requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate daily logistics and financial processing activities across multiple functional areas.
• Conduct financial allocation tracking, monthly reconciliations, and preparation of required financial documentation.
• Perform forensic research and analysis of obligations, fuel usage, dormant accounts, NULOs/ULOs, and other financial discrepancies.
• Manage audit documentation, maintain segregation of duties compliance, and support FIAR aligned processes.
• Support inventory control, daily floor-to-book and book-to-floor reconciliations, and multi system database administration (DPAS-WM, DPAS-PA, R Supply).
• Assist with shipping/receiving operations, material movement coordination, and lifecycle management of equipment and gear.
• Train incoming personnel on local procedures, logistics systems, and financial support processes.
• Maintain audit ready daily files, financial documentation, inventory reports, and required task deliverables.
• Coordinate with logistics, facilities, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and support operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience, including 2 years of team leadership.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in financial tracking, logistics operations, inventory control, or warehouse coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small teams in high tempo logistics environments.
  • Experience with DPAS, R Supply, and Navy ERP or similar logistics/financial systems.
  • Strong proficiency in financial reconciliation, audit documentation, and logistics data processing.
  • Ability to interpret supply documentation, technical instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Candidates with prior military service, must have honorable military service (DD 214).


Preferred Requirements
• Experience supporting NSW/SOF-aligned logistics, financial, or operational workflows. [
• Background in DPAS database administration or multi system inventory control.
• Experience with audit compliance frameworks (FIAR).
• Prior experience training or mentoring personnel in logistics systems or inventory workflows.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling processes, DRMO, and lifecycle management.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform routine warehouse or inventory activities.
• Ability to work in warehouse or facility environments requiring movement of material or equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during daily logistics tasks.
