Full Job Description
Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our Art Transportation division. In this role, you will oversee art handling and transport operations, manage field and logistics teams, ensure the safe movement and storage of fine artwork, and serve as an essential point of contact between clients and internal teams.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will manage operational, administrative, and team leadership functions, including:
  • Operations & Planning: Organize upcoming transit routes, field activities, and daily/weekly driver start times to optimize crew and vehicle usage. Monitor real-time driver progress, adapt schedules, and help to maintain fleet readiness, and maintenance tracking.
  • Team Leadership & HR Support: Guide daily operations for art handlers and transportation personnel. Assist with onboarding, performance monitoring, training assessments, timecard reviews, compliance training support, and department staffing needs.
  • Client Engagement & Service Delivery: Consult directly with account managers and clients, deliver accurate work scope details and arrival estimates, prepare project documentation, and address service issues to ensure seamless execution.
  • Safety & Compliance Standards: Enforce robust safety and handling protocols across all project phases to protect personnel, assets, and artworks during transit and on site.
  • Financial & Administrative Management: Review and approve payroll, expense reports, mileage calculations, procurement requests, purchase orders, and travel accommodations for drivers on layovers.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work alongside local leadership and inter-departmental teams to support broader organizational goals.


What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Logistics & Leadership Experience: 3-5 years in logistics (with 2+ years in a supervisory role) or 2-3 years in commercial art logistics and transportation. Administrative support experience in a relevant setting is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with "white-glove" handling, packing, and storage procedures. A specialized fine art logistics background is preferred.
  • Problem Solving & Leadership: Strong leadership presence with the ability to navigate fast-paced environments, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage active scheduling disruptions.
  • Communication & Professionalism: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, strong proofreading abilities, discretion, and a client-focused service mindset.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Suite, with working knowledge of CRM and AIMS systems preferred.
  • Physical Capabilities: Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items over 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods.

Reasonably expected salary range: $74,500.00 - $93,100.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
