Logistics Strategy & Operations Support Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a Logistics Strategy & Operations Support Specialist, you'll bring your leadership, strategic, technical, and operational expertise to work alongside thought leaders in analytics, engineering, and logistics on projects for defense mission readiness and strategic planning. You'll use your skills and expertise to analyze, assess, and support long-range mission objectives for government clients.

Work with us to translate complex operational, readiness, and logistical data into draft decision-quality products, such as slides, data visualizations, and briefings, that assist government decisionmakers. Leverage your senior-level operational experience to conduct historical data analysis and technical risk assessments, supporting the government's long-range strategic planning and mission readiness objectives.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in a DoD logistics or operational role, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on complex logistics programs
  • Knowledge of cross-functional integration
  • Ability to translate historical lessons-learned into draft strategic planning documents
  • Ability to develop data visualizations and high-level briefings for senior military audiences
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process or operational readiness tracking at a MAJCOM or higher echelon
  • Knowledge of POM technical analysis and operational readiness support
  • Ability to conduct technical risk assessments and historical data analysis for strategic planning
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or operations
  • Logistics or Operations professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
