Job Summary:
THE JOBWe are seeking a Sr. Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. Position is a blend of transactional and intermediate to advanced level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and strong knowledge of basic accounting.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO- Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis as assigned.
- Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation
- Perform detail reviews of regional and/or divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations ensuring timely completion and documentation of issues identified and resolved.
- Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature.
- Assist divisional management team in completing corporate or executive management ad hoc requests.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 5-7 years' comparable work experience
- Strong accounting experience.
- Quality problem solving and communication skills
- Oracle experience a plus
- Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

The expected compensation for this position is:
$80,000.00 USD - $100,000.00 USD
