Full Job Description
What You'll Do

You are a product-focused professional operating at the intersection of product strategy, user experience, and technical operations. You have a proven record of delivering measurable outcomes across the full lifecycle of SaaS or enterprise technology products, from pilot through launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement. You serve as the voice of the user, translating legal professional needs into actionable product requirements while coordinating day-to-day technical operations. You are collaborative, results-driven, and motivated by applying emerging technologies to real business challenges.

Impact: As Innovation Product Lead, you will report to the Associate Director of Litigation & Practice Technology ("LPT") and act as the firm's product owner for an assigned portfolio of innovation tools. Partnering closely with IT, you will jointly drive delivery, stability, and continuous improvement; owning product vision and user experience while IT owns infrastructure and technical execution.

Product Implementation & Lifecycle Management: You will lead pilot-to-production transitions, coordinating governance reviews, vendor contracting, and technical implementation. You will ensure production readiness by providing business context for architecture, risk, and security reviews; leading UAT; shaping change management materials; and championing user requirements to drive strong adoption at launch.

Steady-State Application & Platform Support You will own day-to-day product health for assigned tools, including vendor management, roadmap planning, budgeting, and contracting in partnership with IT and stakeholders. You will work with IT to triage and resolve issues and coordinate updates to minimize disruption to practice teams.

Technology Enablement & Adoption You will develop training, onboarding workflows, and supporting materials (live demos, guides, FAQs), and own user communications such as release notes and product announcements. You will manage user feedback and enhancement requests through a prioritized backlog and conduct regular product health reviews using adoption, satisfaction, support, and ROI metrics to inform investment decisions.

Market Intelligence & Subject Matter Expertise You will serve as the internal expert on assigned products, maintaining deep knowledge of capabilities and roadmaps while monitoring legal tech and vendor trends. You will contribute to new product pilots, representing practice group requirements and user needs throughout evaluation.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering measurable outcomes across the full lifecycle of SaaS or enterprise technology products.
  • Ability to build credibility with attorneys and senior leaders by translating business needs into clear technical requirements and influencing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven experience managing vendors end to end, including roadmap influence, contracts, SLAs, and escalations, using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Aha! or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating usage, adoption, and performance metrics into product decisions (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Experience deploying or supporting AI-enabled tools in enterprise settings, with a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive communications, user documentation, and training delivery.
  • A collaborative, client-first leader with a track record of delivering meaningful cross-functional impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or legal technology environment is preferred, with familiarity with legal workflows and client confidentiality requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with a broad range of legal and practice management technologies is preferred, including document drafting, review, automation, search, and knowledge management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate between business and IT, driving accountability and influencing attorney and senior stakeholder adoption is preferred.
