  • Assist with trial preparation and provide case support from filing through to trial.

Full Job Description
Position Title: Litigation Paralegal

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 / Year, DOE

Join a growing plaintiff-side law firm where strong paralegals are trusted to own their work, manage meaningful litigation, and make a direct impact on cases from filing through trial. This Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys across a busy caseload, handling discovery, state and federal filings, pleadings, calendaring, client communication and trial preparation with the independence to manage priorities without constant oversight. The ideal candidate is an experienced litigation paralegal who is organized, accountable, and confident working directly with clients and attorneys. You take deadlines seriously, produce polished work, respond well to constructive feedback, and know when to solve a problem independently and when to bring in the right person.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys across approximately 100 active litigation matters, primarily plaintiff-side employment cases with some personal injury matters
  • Manage discovery including gathering information, drafting responses, organizing supporting documentation, and preparing initial drafts
  • Handle frequent state and federal court filings while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission
  • Draft and prepare complaints, pleadings, motions and other litigation documents throughout the lifecycle of a case
  • Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and proactively keep attorneys informed of upcoming case requirements
  • Communicate professionally with clients to obtain documents, clarify information, and keep cases moving forward
  • Assist with comprehensive trial preparation and provide hands-on case support from initial filing through trial

Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of litigation paralegal experience with significant hands-on discovery responsibilities
  • Strong experience drafting discovery responses, organizing supporting information, and producing accurate litigation documents
  • Federal court filing experience with a solid understanding of filing procedures and deadlines
  • Plaintiff-side employment litigation experience strongly preferred, including wage and hour, class action, PAGA, FEHA, retaliation, discrimination, disability or pregnancy matters
  • Plaintiff personal injury or other plaintiff-side civil litigation experience will also be considered
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, deadline management, and professional client communication skills
