- Maintain Plant IT systems by ensuring all systems are properly named and labeled, patched, running up-to-date antivirus definitions, joined to the production domain, and functioning correctly in accordance with Scout Motors, Inc. specifications and configuration standards
- Ensure high operational availability (uptime) and integrity of IT manufacturing support equipment and applications
- Monitor and support Plant IT networks, servers, client devices, and other infrastructure under IT administrative responsibility
- Monitor Plant IT manufacturing ticket queues; troubleshoot issues to resolution while accurately documenting work performed and updating the knowledge base as needed
- Escalate incidents and complex issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors when required
- Identify and recommend solutions that support business process improvement and operational maturity
- Support continuous improvement processes on the production floor
- Execute assigned projects while meeting defined milestones, delivery schedules, and deadlines
- Perform asset management for Plant IT hardware and related components, including receiving and tracking equipment, proper storage, staging, testing, configuration, and coordination of third-party repairs
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation related to Plant IT systems and processes
- Support IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, where downtime directly impacts operations
- Provide IT support for manufacturing systems and interfaces (e.g., MES, HMI terminals, barcode scanners, industrial workstations)
- Work Schedule: This role participates in a DuPont shift schedule to support continuous plant operations. The position does not require on-call support outside of assigned shifts
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 2-4 years of professional work experience in information technology or a related field
- Associate's degree in information systems or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows client operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, and later versions)
- Experience supporting mobile computing technologies, including Android and iOS devices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices
- Experience with backup, restore, and system reimaging software and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay TransparencyThis is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000.00 - $112,500.00
