Full Job Description
Aescape is looking for a Lifecycle & Loyalty Manager to own how guests move from first interest to a weekly recovery routine. This role owns the lifecycle engine: email, SMS, and in-app messaging that convert intent into a first session, turn a first session into a habit, and grow frequency and revenue per member over time. It also owns the loyalty and advocacy layer, including referral, reviews, and the programs that turn strong sessions into word of mouth.

You will work in a tight loop with Content, Product Marketing, and Analytics. Content gives you the creative and the story. Product Marketing gives you the positioning and the launch calendar. Analytics gives you the read. You own the programs, the calendar, the test plan, and the results.

This is a builder role. Aescape is scaling across partner locations, and the lifecycle system needs to scale with it. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Why This Role Matters

Recovery works when it is a routine. Aescape's growth depends on guests moving from a first session to a weekly habit, and on those guests telling other people.

This role owns that transition. You will decide how Aescape talks to guests between sessions, what makes them come back, and what makes them bring someone with them. The programs you build become the demand engine underneath every partner location we open.

What You'll Do

Intent to conversion
  • Own the programs that turn interest into a booked first session, across email, SMS, in-app, and web surfaces.
  • Build and optimize onboarding and first-booking journeys for new guests, including partner-sourced audiences.
  • Reduce time to first session and lift first-booking rate as primary metrics.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on offer structure, packages, and promotional mechanics.

Trial to habit
  • Own post-session and rebooking journeys that convert a first session into a routine.
  • Design the sequences that establish weekly cadence and set expectations for compounding benefit.
  • Build lapsed and win-back programs with clear triggers and clear exit criteria.
  • Own the metrics that matter here: second-session rate, 30 and 90 day repeat rate, and sessions per member per month.

Frequency and revenue per member
  • Grow sessions per member and revenue per member through segmentation, personalization, and package strategy.
  • Build audience segmentation that reflects real behavior, including recency, frequency, location, and package status.
  • Own upgrade and package adoption paths, working with Revenue and Finance on pricing inputs.
  • Report on cohort performance and surface where frequency is building and where it is stalling.

Loyalty, referral, and advocacy
  • Build and run the referral program end to end, from mechanic and incentive design through measurement.
  • Own review generation and rating programs across partner locations and owned surfaces.
  • Design the loyalty and recognition layer that rewards consistency, not just spend.
  • Source and route guest stories, testimonials, and UGC to Content and Product Marketing.

Test and learn
  • Own the lifecycle experimentation roadmap, including A/B and holdout testing across message, offer, timing, and channel.
  • Set hypotheses before launch, define success criteria, and read results with Analytics.
  • Maintain a shared record of what has been tested and what we learned, so the team compounds knowledge instead of repeating tests.
  • Kill what does not work quickly and scale what does.

Campaign and launch support
  • Translate content programs, product launches, and marketing activations into lifecycle execution.
  • Own the lifecycle calendar and keep it aligned with the broader marketing calendar.
  • Build the audience targeting, message sequencing, and measurement plan for each launch.
  • Support partner activations with lifecycle programs that respect partner communication standards.

Who You Are
  • A lifecycle operator who thinks in journeys and cohorts, not one-off sends.
  • Comfortable owning a number and reporting on it honestly.
  • Rigorous about data, targeting, and QA, with a strong instinct for copy and offer.
  • Able to move from strategy to build to read without waiting for a handoff.
  • Collaborative across Content, Product Marketing, Analytics, Revenue, and partner teams.
  • Energized by building a system from the early innings rather than inheriting a finished one.

What You Bring
  • 4+ years in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing, ideally in consumer subscription, fitness, hospitality, or multi-location retail.
  • Hands-on fluency with Braze, including canvases, segmentation, Liquid personalization, and event-based triggers. You build in the tool yourself.
  • Track record of measurable lift in conversion, repeat rate, or revenue per customer, with the ability to explain how you got it.
  • Experience designing and running referral or loyalty programs.
  • Strong test-and-learn discipline, including experiment design and reading results with statistical care.
  • Comfort with SQL or a BI tool for pulling your own audiences and validating your own reporting.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus and not required.
  • Clear writing. Lifecycle copy is a core part of this job.
  • An ability to work onsite in our NYC office in Chelsea 2-3 days a week.

What's In It For You
  • Join a trailblazing robotics and AI company building the future of recovery
  • The chance to make a difference with a product that empowers healthier and happier living
  • Team culture driven by passion, ambition, empowerment, inclusion, curiosity, and fun!
  • 100% employer-paid healthcare coverage for employees with generous coverage for eligible dependents
  • Flexible time off
  • Quarterly Wellness Days - everyone fully unplugs
  • Generous parental leave
  • Complimentary OneMedical membership
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Home office budget
  • Annual stipend for professional development
  • Working late? Dinner is on us
  • Complimentary Aescape recovery sessions for yourself, friends & family

Compensation: Base salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 annually, plus discretionary annual bonus, plus equity grant commensurate with the role and company stage. Full-time employees are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and paid parental leave.
