Overview

$90,000 - $100,000 annually (DOE)

Full-time Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

On-site: 1470 E. Middle Ave, San Martin, CA 95046 

 

Embark is seeking a fully licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC to provide individual, family, and group therapy within our adolescent short-term residential treatment program in San Martin, just south of San Jose. This role offers a focused caseload of approximately six clients, allowing therapists to build meaningful relationships with teens ages 12-17 and their families while delivering high-quality clinical care. If you're looking for a weekday schedule, collaborative treatment team, and the opportunity to work with adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, school refusal, substance use, trauma, and other mental health challenges, we'd love to connect. Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents ages 12-17 in a residential treatment setting.
  • Maintain a focused caseload of approximately six to eight clients, allowing for individualized treatment and family engagement.
  • Develop, update, and collaborate on treatment plans with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
  • Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and therapeutic support during periods of emotional distress.
  • Conduct parent coaching and family sessions that support treatment progress and successful transitions home.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare recommendations with families and referral partners.
  • Complete clinical documentation, treatment notes, and assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with program requirements.
Qualifications
  • Active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselorrequired.
  • Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain an NPI and CAQH profile as part of onboarding.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in residential treatment, PHP, IOP, psychiatric, crisis, substance use, or other high-acuity behavioral health settings.
  • Strong clinical skills working with adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
