We’re looking for a Thermofluids Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on flagship RR programs and play an important role in addressing some of the most complex and interesting technological challenges in Defense.
The Thermofluids Systems Engineer is responsible for designing and analysis of gas turbine air, oil, fuel, and thermal management systems along with component and/or subsystem thermal analysis. The role supports the entire product lifecycle from concept generation and evaluation to in-service support.
Applying systems engineering concepts to define whole engine fluid systems and support resolution of system-level issues. This will include working together with other engineers in Thermofluids, Engine Performance, Controls, Installations, Turbines, Compressors, Combustion, and Power Transmission Systems
Supporting engine development testing through analysis or on-site test by planning, monitoring, inspection of instrumented hardware (pre and post-test), data reduction, and model validation
A willingness to work flexibly and travel between locations: in most cases, you’ll be able to meet the requirements in the location you are recruited to, however, we may need you to be flexible and travel between sites during or for your internship n open-minded, curious, and agile approach to work and career development
Programming skills such as Visual Basic, FORTRAN,Matlab, Python, PERL, and/or C++preferred
