Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum of 8+ years of substantial credit and financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical ability and technical skills in accounting, financial statement and cash flow-based analysis, capital structures and debt documentation
  • Knowledge of corporate credit, commercial real estate, data centers, project finance, and the ability to analyze complex debt structures preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity, honesty, thoroughness, sound judgment and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing
  • Outstanding people skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, including C-suite, and represent the Moody's brand credibly and effectively
  • Diligence, sense of ownership and ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality outcomes

About the Team

The North America Corporate Finance Group (CFG) is hiring a VP - Ratings to manage a portfolio of high-yield and investment-grade corporate credits in the REIT/Digital Infrastructure/Gaming team. This high-profile opportunity is ideal for someone eager to apply strong credit and analytical expertise while engaging with C-suite executives and the broader marketplace.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $290,000.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
