Skills and Competencies
  • 7-10 years in internal and/or executive communications, ideally supporting a senior leadership team in a large or matrixed organization
  • Exceptional writing skills, including experience ghostwriting for senior executives
  • Experience running high-visibility employee events (town halls, all-hands) end to end
  • Sound judgment on sensitive or fast-moving topics, with the ability to work discreetly on confidential matters
  • Comfortable managing multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities under tight timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage multi-channel communications platforms (intranet, newsletters, video, live events) for a global, hybrid workforce
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in artificial intelligence tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field

Responsibilities

Leads internal and executive communications for Moody's Analytics, shaping messaging that keeps key stakeholders aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Own the internal and executive communications strategy for Moody's Analytics, including the editorial calendar, messaging priorities, and cadence of high-visibility employee and leadership communications
  • Create executive-level messaging and communications tactics that help thousands of employees understand Moody's Analytics' strategy, priorities, business milestones, and organizational changes
  • Draft and manage leadership communications for senior Moody's Analytics executives, including town halls, all-hands meetings, leader messages, talking points, and communications to departments and teams
  • Serve as a close strategic partner to the Moody's Analytics Chief Executive Officer and senior leaders, helping shape a credible, consistent leadership voice across internal audiences and key stakeholder moments
  • Design creative activations and visibility opportunities that raise the profile of the Moody's Analytics Chief Executive Officer and bring her brand, message, and priorities to life for important internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and manage multi-channel communications formats, including intranet content, newsletters, video, live events, and leader toolkits that effectively reach a global, hybrid workforce
  • Measure communications engagement and effectiveness, using insights to continuously refine messaging, channels, and executive communications approaches while ensuring alignment with Moody's broader voice and brand
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs and business stakeholders to ensure executive communications are aligned, timely, compassionate, and tailored to the needs of key internal audiences

About the Team

The Moody's Analytics Communications Team sits within Moody's Corporate Affairs department, which shapes and protects Moody's global reputation and voice across enterprise communications, brand, business communications, media relations, and executive visibility. As part of its work, the team uses AI-enabled tools to support research, content development, workflow efficiency, and communications insights while maintaining strong editorial judgment and brand alignment. By joining our team you will play a meaningful role in how Moody's Analytics connects with its people and key stakeholders at the highest levels of the organization.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $151,300.00 - $236,800, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
