- Deep, hands-on expertise with Workday, including architecting and delivering enterprise-grade integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and SOAP/REST web services; advanced familiarity with Workday HCM modules, security domains, business processes, calculated fields, and Workday data models
- Demonstrated leadership in defining and owning Workday integration strategy across the enterprise, including governance frameworks, integration standards, and platform roadmaps that align with organizational objectives
- Proven ability to architect and deliver complex Workday integrations with downstream platforms such as identity management systems, payroll providers, data warehouses, and SaaS applications; strong experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or equivalent
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, with demonstrated experience in cloud-native and hybrid architecture initiatives; experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline design is a plus
- Expert-level proficiency in RESTful API design and understanding of microservices architecture; ability to set technical standards and guide cross-functional engineering teams in producing architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical workflows
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and translate strategic objectives into actionable, enterprise-aligned technical roadmaps
- Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Responsibilities This role steers Workday architecture strategy and enterprise integration across Moody's, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term operational and strategic goals.
- Own and drive the enterprise Workday integration strategy, including governance standards, integration roadmaps, and platform architecture decisions that support scalability, security, and business continuity across the HCM domain
- Architect and oversee the delivery of complex Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio solutions, and API-based connections to identity management, payroll, data platforms, and third-party SaaS applications
- Lead the definition and maintenance of enterprise architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical workflows, ensuring documentation is authoritative, current, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Serve as the senior technical advisor to HR system owners, product managers, and executive stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable, well-governed architectural solutions
- Design and provide architectural oversight for cloud-native and hybrid integration solutions on AWS or Azure, applying microservices and API-driven patterns to ensure enterprise-wide system interoperability and modularity
- Establish, champion, and enforce architectural governance, integration best practices, and coding standards across engineering teams, with a focus on security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance for sensitive workforce and financial data
- Lead design reviews, architecture boards, and performance and scalability assessments; mentor and develop senior engineering talent and drive a culture of technical excellence across the team
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for adoption, including AI-driven capabilities, and contribute to strategic planning for the evolution of Moody's enterprise systems landscape

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $140,200.00 - $230,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
