Full Job Description
Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial crime compliance within the financial services sector
  • Deep expertise in Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, sanctions compliance, and third-party risk management
  • Direct experience using or implementing solutions that support sanctions screening, Know Your Customer, transaction monitoring, and investigative case management workflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives and decision-makers
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with clients and translate complex business challenges into solution-oriented discussions
  • Experience supporting complex sales cycles, including proposals, proof of concepts, and solution architecture discussions is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted industry expert driving client engagement, market strategy, and product innovation across financial crime compliance and third-party risk management solutions.
  • Establish credibility and confidence in Moody's products through client engagement, industry expertise, and thought leadership activities
  • Identify client needs and lead solution alignment and architecture discussions to ensure Moody's offerings are effectively integrated into client workflows
  • Act as a trusted advisor to banks and other financial institutions by translating business challenges into tailored solution recommendations
  • Apply industry best practices to enhance customer engagements, including proposals, demonstrations, and proof of concept initiatives
  • Design, build, and execute market outreach strategies in partnership with marketing, strategy, and sales teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders while representing Moody's at conferences, client forums, and executive discussions
  • Produce thought leadership content aligned with client priorities and Moody's product suite while maintaining an active industry presence
  • Translate market trends, regulatory developments, and client feedback into product requirements and enhancement opportunities
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and support business cases for product innovation and strategic growth initiatives
  • Deliver training and enablement sessions on client use cases, workflows, personas, and market dynamics for internal sales, customer success, and strategy teams
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to define Moody's value proposition and support go-to-market execution efforts

The Global Sales operating unit is comprised of more than 1,000 sales and customer service professionals serving customers across the private and public sectors globally. The Industry Practice Group brings together senior domain experts with backgrounds in industry, consulting, regulatory organizations, and practitioner roles. By joining this team, you will help shape market strategy, influence product innovation, support client success, and contribute to the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance business outcomes across the financial services industry.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00 - $287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
