The Learning Program Manager plays a critical role in shaping and delivering learning strategies that directly support business performance. This position partners closely with business leaders to identify capability gaps, diagnose performance challenges, and design solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Acting as the single point of accountability, you will lead learning initiatives from strategy through delivery-ensuring alignment between business priorities, learning design, and performance impact. This role goes beyond training coordination-it's about consulting, influencing, and delivering results through learning.

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals, challenges, and capability needs.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable learning and performance strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships and serve as the primary learning advisor for your assigned function or business area.

Performance Analysis & Solutioning
  • Conduct diagnostics to identify root causes of performance gaps (skills, process, environment, incentives, etc.).
  • Recommend targeted solutions-leveraging both learning and non-training interventions where appropriate.
  • Align stakeholders on priorities, target skill areas, and expected outcomes.

End-to-End Program Ownership
  • Serve as the single point of contact between the business and the Learning & Development Center of Excellence.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of learning initiatives:
    • Strategy & design
    • Development
    • Deployment
    • Measurement & optimization
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to objectives.

Learning Design & Development Oversight
  • Partner with instructional designers, SMEs, vendors, and facilitators to develop high-quality learning solutions.
  • Oversee course development and ensure alignment with business goals and performance outcomes.
  • Maintain strong visibility across all workstreams and stakeholders.

Measurement, Impact & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using meaningful business metrics.
  • Communicate impact to stakeholders in terms of performance outcomes and ROI.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness and alignment over time.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Facilitate transparent communication with business leaders and stakeholders on program status, progress, and value.
  • Lead regular check-ins and reviews to ensure alignment and drive accountability.
  • Promote adoption and engagement with learning initiatives across the business.

Champion Learning Culture
  • Advocate for continuous learning and professional development across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning and Development or Talent Development.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with business leaders on performance challenges.
  • Proven ability to manage complex learning programs and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and demonstrate learning impact.
  • Flexibility to manage changing priorities and multiple initiatives.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and change management practices.
  • Experience with learning management systems and learning analytics is preferred.
