Full Job Description
Reporting to the Team Lead - Learning and Development, we9re looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to play a vital role in designing and launching impactful learning experiences that empower our teams to excel.

Here are some examples of the exciting programs our Learning and Development team has developed internally:
  • Zen Leader Quest: Leadership development program for new and experienced leaders.
  • Zen Insurance Quest: Product training for brokers to master our coverage options.
  • Commercial Broker Training Program: Bootcamp equipping aspiring brokers with essential insurance knowledge and sales skills.


To be successful in this role, there are two mandates:
  1. Enhance Organizational Onboarding - Support the strategic initiative to enhance organizational onboarding, collaborating with L&D team lead to identify, collect, and integrate current company materials.

  3. Enhance Existing Learning Programs - Conduct reviews and implement strategic design upgrades to existing learning programs, maximizing quality and learner engagement.

Please note: This is a 8-month, full-time contract position with the potential for further opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Design: Craft captivating and accessible digital learning content using various tools, such as Canva, Articulate 360, Workday Learning, and a suite of AI tools.
  • Training lifecycle management: Own the training lifecycle from content creation to evaluation, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Administration: Maintain up-to-date training materials for all programs on Workday Learning.
  • Training Documentation: Document training processes and assess the impact of training initiatives to identify areas for growth and improvement.


Requirements:

  • Instructional Design Experience: 3+ years of experience in adult learning program design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Lifecycle Management: Ability to manage the content development life cycle, from needs analysis to evaluation, leveraging instructional design best practices.
  • Content Transformation: A knack for transforming complex information into engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Technical Toolkit: Experience using Canva, Articulate 360, Workday Learning, Survey Monkey, and AI tools (such as Synthesia) is an asset.


$68,000 - $93,000 a year

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
