Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. We are currently seeking a Lead MRI Technologist (Full-Time) The Lead MRI Technologist reports to the designated leader within the Imaging Department. This position performs diagnostic procedures with skills and without requiring constant supervision in CT and MRI. This position will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level.

Qualifications Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency required.
- Diploma from certified school of Radiology required.
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Radiology Technologist required, acute care experience preffered.
- One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in two (2) modalities (i.e. CT, MR, IR, or Cath Lab) required, acute care experience preffered.
- Current DC Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
- Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license preffered.
- Or - Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) must be obtained within 6 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and percentages.

- Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
- Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
