Lead Systems Application Engineer As a Lead Systems Application Engineer, you'll lead and manage customer-facing Demand Response deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation and measurable impact on energy usage and grid stability. This is a remote role with up to 50% travel. Candidates must reside in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, or Texas. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. What you'll do: • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary interface for customers, delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships. • Lead and manage customer-facing Demand Response deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation and measurable impact on energy usage and grid stability. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Eaton Support, and Deployment Teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions. • Act as a connector across the organization, aligning teams and driving outcomes that support both customer success and grid modernization. • Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the deployment lifecycle Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Minimum of 5 years of utility experience • Experience working directly with customers, including ownership or support of key customer accounts • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. • Candidates must reside in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Texas, or Utah, Preferred Qualifications: • Experience running a demand response program • Experience with Radio Frequency and Cellular Communications Systems • Experience with Communications Hardware, Firmware, and Enterprise Software systems. • A solid networking knowledge of computer communications including TCP/IP, SSH, and other protocols. • Proven demonstrated skills in teamwork, time management, customer service skills, and ability to multi-task in an interrupt-based environment Position Success Criteria: • Ability to travel up to 50% • Mentor project team members with less experience to improve their abilities and performance. • Perform light lifting of 40 lbs. or less. • Knowledge of front-end scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing process and lead times. #LI-LS3 All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
