Senior Digital Assets Payments Solution Lead

Location: PCS CA, Toronto

Years of Experience: 10-15 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Assets Payments Solution Lead to define and deliver next-generation solutions in tokenized deposits, stablecoins, digital assets, cross-border payments, and blockchain-enabled financial infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive banking and payments domain expertise, with a strong focus on digital asset technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement innovative digital asset solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing banking systems.
  • Develop solution architectures, operating models, product propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Provide expert guidance on tokenized deposits, stablecoins, digital assets, and blockchain-based payment systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with payment ecosystems and bank technology architecture.

Mandatory Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, payments, transaction banking, treasury, or financial services technology.
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems and bank technology architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of DLT/blockchain, digital asset infrastructure, and tokenization.
  • Experience with API, event-driven, and integration architectures.
  • Ability to map digital asset solutions into existing bank systems.
  • Strong executive communication and consulting skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging.
  • Experience with real-time/instant payment networks and cross-border payment orchestration.
  • Familiarity with core banking and payment hub platforms, treasury and liquidity management platforms.
  • Knowledge of institutional digital asset custody, smart contracts, and blockchain platforms.
  • Experience with stablecoin issuance and redemption, tokenized deposits, and digital asset exchanges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex digital asset solutions in a banking environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
