- Location/Schedule: Oakland/Rancho Cordova/Alpharetta; Hybrid - 2 Days in-office. In-Person Interviews Required

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot Microservices.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow Agile methodologies.
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation and application modernization initiatives.

Required Experience & Technical Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Java application development and building distributed systems/microservices.
- Core Java: Java fundamentals, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, JVM, Performance Tuning, and Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas).
- Spring Ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
- Microservices: Architecture design, REST API implementation, and service communication patterns.
- Databases: Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), SQL, schema design, and query optimization.
- DevOps & Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

- Messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus), API Gateway, and event-driven architectures.
- Containerization, orchestration platforms, and security best practices (OAuth/JWT).
- Azure Cloud services (AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Key Vault).
