Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic leader to oversee our Arbitration Division, with a key emphasis on handling high-volume arbitration matters related to wage and hour disputes. This is a leadership opportunity ideal for an experienced employment litigator who thrives in plaintiff-side arbitration work and is ready to mentor and guide a growing legal team through the intricacies of large-scale employment arbitration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee a legal team managing large caseloads of wage and hour arbitration matters
  • Provide supervision throughout all stages of arbitration, including strategy development, discovery, drafting, preparation, and hearings
  • Review and maintain high standards for all legal documentation, including arbitration filings, motions, discovery materials, and settlement agreements
  • Support the professional growth of junior attorneys through mentorship and by promoting best practices in high-volume arbitration contexts
  • Design and refine internal processes, templates, and systems to enhance efficiency in managing large arbitration dockets
  • Coordinate with intake, pre-litigation, and operations units to ensure seamless case progression and preparedness
  • Ensure adherence to procedural rules set by arbitration organizations (e.g., , JAMS), especially within the framework of batch or mass arbitration protocols
  • Contribute to case strategy for complex or high-value matters and represent the firm at arbitration proceedings when necessary

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • At least 7 years of experience in employment law, with substantial work on wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, and arbitration matters

  • Practical experience handling high-volume or mass arbitration matters from intake through resolution
  • In-depth familiarity with arbitration venues and procedures, particularly nd JAMS mass arbitration protocols
  • Exceptional skills in legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation
