Position Description: The IS Security Developer III leads enterprise secure software development and automation efforts, defining and implementing secure coding standards, engineering security tooling integrations, and strengthening CI/CD pipelines across Treasury environments. This role ensures applications and code deployments meet high security, compliance, and resilience standards.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop secure software components and automation frameworks supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations.
Integrate application security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into development pipelines.
Enhance CI/CD automation to enforce secure development practices and validate code quality.
Build APIs and integrations to strengthen tool interoperability and security visibility.
Support vulnerability remediation and secure code review processes.
Develop secure design patterns and automation supporting AI/ML pipelines and model security controls.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
9+ years secure software development experience.
Security+ or relevant development certifications.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Experience with modern programming languages and CI/CD toolchains.
Knowledge of secure coding standards and DevSecOps automation.
Familiarity with AI/ML security patterns.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $251,100.00.
