Lead Scrum Master | Remote, Oregon, United States Job Summary: Lead Scrum Master (Remote, US) Job Type: C2C | Location: Remote, United States About the Role Drive agile excellence as a Lead Scrum Master for dynamic, geographically dispersed development squads. Leverage your hybrid Scrum Master and Project Manager expertise to deliver high-quality products on time, foster cross-functional collaboration, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities - Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring active squad participation and alignment with Agile best practices. - Coach Product Owners, QA, Development, and cross-functional teams to maintain a prioritized backlog and deliver on product vision. - Oversee cross-team coordination, requirements traceability, release planning, and test case management. - Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones for predictable, on-budget project delivery. - Establish, enforce, and evolve governance and process standards. - Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders through concise metrics and progress updates. - Coordinate movement of code and resources across Development, Testing, UAT, and Production environments. - Foster a safe, collaborative, and engaged team culture; mediate conflicts and encourage experimentation. - Actively champion change, process improvements, and servant leadership principles. Required Skills and Experience - 6+ years of experience in Agile development, with a strong track record as a hybrid Scrum Master and Project Manager. - Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, tools, and principles with hands-on Scrum facilitation. - Demonstrated experience in establishing governance and process standards. - Hands-on Jira expertise. - Proficient in risk, issue, dependency, and milestone management. - Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. - Previous software development life cycle experience. Preferred Skills - Scrum Master certification. - Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
