We are currently seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to join our team in Washington (REMOTE), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Summary:

The Salesforce Lead Developer supports a government-contracted contact center by leading the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions. This role ensures the platform is stable, secure, and optimized for daily operations, including case management, reporting, workflow automation, and integrations. The Lead Developer provides technical leadership, oversees development standards, and collaborates with program and operations teams to support mission-critical customer service functions.

Job Duties:
  • Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions that support contact center operations.
  • Build and maintain Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and automated workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government and organizational standards.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support enhancements, upgrades, and new feature deployments.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, program managers, and operational leaders to refine requirements.
  • Oversee code reviews, documentation, and adherence to development best practices.
  • Support release management, testing cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent advanced certification).
  • Minimum 6 years of experience supporting Salesforce roles/responsibilities
  • Minimum 3 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and API integrations.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect).
  • Experience supporting complex Salesforce environments or multi-cloud implementations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience supporting government programs or regulated environments.
  • Background in enterprise-scale integrations or event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices and cross-functional collaboration.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $87,120 - $160,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
