Position Specific Description

Role summary: Lead planning excellence across PGD fossil generating and RNG plants. Will drive planning deliverables as per the Major Maintenance Process including but not limited to material readiness, resource coordination, and job package readiness.

Key responsibilities:
  • Creation and Maintaining Job Plans for Fossil and RNG Sites
  • Outage Planning for RNG Sites
  • Support planners by providing an appropriate level of decision making to remove barriers to Planning progress such as but not limited to accounting issues, clarity on PM sequences, etc.
  • Ensure that all major vendors work that requires bidding are identified early so that ISC can lead the bidding process
  • Participation in vendor walkdowns and ensure consistency
  • Outage planning and readiness: Lead outage planning cycles (milestones, gates, critical path, pre-outage readiness reviews), ensure materials, tooling, vendors, and logistics are in place
  • Coach planners on planning best practices and use of CMMS/EAM tools.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years maintenance planning, outage planning experience in power generation or heavy industrial environments; fossil plant experience preferred
  • Strong CMMS/EAM proficiency (e.g., SAP, Maximo or equivalent) and work management processes
  • Demonstrated ability to plan complex, multi-craft jobs and coordinate vendors/OEMs
  • Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical/instrumentation work on fossil plant systems (boilers, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, turbine/generator auxiliaries, balance-of-plant)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across sites and functions


Key competencies:
Planning rigor and attention to detail, decisive prioritization, vendor/OEM coordination, analytical problem-solving, safety-first mindset, collaboration and coaching, continuous improvement orientation

Travel:
Regional travel to supported sites as needed (approx. 25%, depending on outage schedule)

Location: Position will be based at the Palm Beach Gardens, FL office, Regional (multi-site support across assigned fossil plants) is required. Consideration to be based out of one of the sites will be determined by candidate's experience and the needs of the business unit.

  • Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
  • Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues
  • Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
  • Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 6+ years
