Job Description:

This position will be responsible for management multiple contracts over at least two different Customers, to include Air Force and UAS programs. This team is focused on selling SIGINT products to various Customer and continue to build our Customer base and product backlog. This Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading a program team through all aspects of a contract lifecycle, from request for proposal (RFP), through negotiations and award, and through the execution of contracts to final delivery to Customers. The PM manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
  • The PM has full accountability for the financial well-being and on time deliveries of the programs they manage. This comes with having to manage and hold functional groups accountable to the execution of the program.
  • The PM will also be responsible for briefing customer, user, and upper management on all facets of the program. Frequent customer, user, and upper management interaction is routine.
  • The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.
  • The PM will work alongside our finance team for requirements associated with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data collection, financial and manpower forecasting, reporting, and variance justification.
  • The PM is responsible for managing the cost and schedule of their programs to ensure its financial well-being. This includes managing risk and opportunities, as well as employing sound change management practices.
  • The PM will be responsible for leading the overall integration of the program integrated master schedule (IMS) and will be responsible to track progress on the program.
  • The PM will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with internal customers, such as engineering, finance, business development and manufacturing to ensure all are strategically and tactically engaged on business objectives.
  • The PM will be afforded opportunities for problem solving and innovation in developing solutions, both internal and external.
  • The PM will also assist or lead pursuit activities, working closely with Business Development. The PM will help shape the business case and pursuit plan.
  • In pursuit activities, the PM will be responsible for securing and managing internal funds designated for pursuit activities.
  • 15% Travel may be required to support customer requirements.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, including no barriers to obtain Top Secret.


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience managing with various contract types, including various payment structures.
  • Experience managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedule and deliverables.
  • Position requires occasional overtime work, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance, as well as Special Access Program clearances as required.
  • Working knowledge of system-level requirements, design practices, hardware specification, and development is desired
