Full Job Description
About the Role

Big Viking Games is looking for a Lead Product Manager to help shape the next stage of growth for FishWorld, one of our long-running social games with a loyal player community and meaningful live revenue.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves live games, player behavior, monetization, experimentation, and building durable product systems. You will work closely with leadership, design, engineering, data, art, and live operations to improve the existing FishWorld experience while helping define its future across platforms.

The right person will bring strong product judgment, hands-on execution, commercial thinking, and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

This is a hybrid role with three (3) days in office.

The Opportunity

FishWorld has a strong legacy, an active audience, and significant room for growth. We are looking for a product leader who can identify the biggest opportunities, make clear tradeoffs, and turn product strategy into measurable results.

You will help modernize how the game operates, improve the player experience, strengthen monetization

systems, and guide the roadmap for both the current live game and future expansion opportunities. This is not a maintenance role. This is a chance to help build a smarter, more data-informed, more scalable version of FishWorld while respecting the community and product foundations that already exist.

What You'll Do
• Own the product strategy and roadmap for FishWorld, with a focus on growth, retention, monetization, player satisfaction, and long-term product health.
• Partner with leadership to define clear goals, priorities, success metrics, and product tradeoffs.
• Analyze player behavior, economy health, feature performance, content performance, live operations, and business trends to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Lead experimentation across offers, events, live operations, onboarding, engagement loops, pricing, bundles, and monetization systems.
• Work closely with design, engineering, art, live operations, and data to ship improvements quickly, measure performance, and learn from results.
• Help evolve FishWorld into a stronger multi-platform product while preserving what existing players value most.
• Use AI and automation thoughtfully to improve workflows, accelerate analysis, reduce manual effort, and help the team move faster.
• Translate player feedback, community signals, market awareness, and data into practical product decisions.
• Build repeatable product processes that improve planning, prioritization, execution, measurement, and post-launch learning.
• Bring structure, clarity, and accountability to roadmap planning, feature evaluation, live operations planning, and product decision-making.

Requirements
What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong product judgment with hands-on execution. You should be comfortable working with data, leading cross-functional teams, making tradeoffs, and creating structure in a live game environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with:
• Live game product management, monetization, growth, or product strategy.
• Running A/B tests and using data to guide product and business decisions.
• Game economies, virtual currencies, pricing, bundles, offers, events, and engagement systems.
• Cross-functional leadership across design, engineering, art, live operations, data, and leadership teams.
• Turning ambiguous business problems into clear product plans and measurable outcomes.
• Balancing player experience, product quality, revenue performance, and long-term game health.
• Communicating clearly with executives, stakeholders, and execution teams.
• Building operating rhythms, roadmap discipline, and repeatable product processes.
• Using AI, automation, or modern tools to improve productivity, analysis, and decision-making.

Nice to Have
• Experience working on social games, casual games, virtual worlds, free-to-play games, or long-running live-service products.
• Experience with legacy games or mature products where growth requires both modernization and respect for the existing player base.
• Familiarity with player segmentation, cohort analysis, retention curves, economy balancing, content calendars, offer testing, and live event performance.
• Experience working with analytics, BI tools, SQL, dashboards, or data teams.
• Experience helping a product evolve across web, mobile, or multi-platform environments.

Why This Role Is Exciting

This is a rare opportunity to work on a live game with an established audience, real revenue, and meaningful upside. You will have the chance to influence both the current business and the future direction of the product.

You will not be joining to maintain the status quo. You will be joining to help build a smarter, more data-driven, more scalable version of FishWorld, one that respects its existing community while creating new paths for growth.

This role is best suited for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the ability to make a measurable impact.

Benefits
Compensation

The expected compensation range for this role is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

Benefits
• Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and vision) including HSA/WSA spending account from Day 1
• Participation in the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP)
• RRSP participation and matching
• 15 Vacation Days + 10 Wellness Days
