Your Impact on our Mission

At Zocdoc, we are building products that help people access care more easily and help partners deliver better scheduling experiences at scale. As a Lead Product Designer on Care Access Network, you will shape partner-facing experiences that help healthcare organizations understand what is possible with Zocdoc and imagine new ways we can work together. You will bring product design, storytelling, and rapid prototyping together to create compelling visions of future partnership opportunities across dashboards, workflows, reporting, concepts, and tailored experiences.

This is a lead-level individual contributor role for a designer who can move fluidly between strategy, craft, systems thinking, and hands-on making. You will work in a highly consultative environment, using design as a superpower to help prospective and existing partners see around corners, align on opportunity, and build confidence in where the business relationship can go next. You will also help define how design works in a more AI-native product development model, using modern tools and working prototypes to accelerate learning and increase leverage.

You'll enjoy this role if you are...
  • Influential with cross-functional partners through strong storytelling, clear artifacts, and a high degree of ownership.
  • Personally motivated by turning ambiguous opportunities into clear, compelling product direction across multiple surfaces and stakeholders.
  • Energized by working with many different partner contexts and translating business needs into persuasive product stories, prototypes, and concepts.
  • Excited to pair strong product design craft with rapid prototyping, especially when early concepts help clients and internal teams see the art of the possible.
  • Comfortable operating in consultative, commercial, or pitch-oriented environments where design helps move conversations forward and opens the door to future partnership opportunities.
  • Curious about AI-native product development and eager to use emerging tools to increase speed and quality without lowering the craft bar.

Your day to day is...
  • Leading end-to-end design across Care Access Network partner experiences, including dashboards, workflows, reporting, and supporting surfaces that help partners and developers understand performance and opportunity.
  • Creating rapid prototypes that explore new scheduling experiences, partnership concepts, and future-facing ideas that help strategic partners and internal teams learn quickly.
  • Developing polished concepts and tailored design narratives that reflect partner brands, business goals, and operational realities to support product strategy and commercial conversations.
  • Using design to help prospective and existing partners imagine the future of a deeper relationship with Zocdoc, including new ways our platform can support their growth.
  • Shaping visually rich reporting and storytelling experiences that make trends, progress, and next steps easier for partners to understand and act on.
  • Contributing to new partner-facing experiences tied to emerging initiatives, including exploratory concepts, landing-page-adjacent surfaces, and flows that help communicate the value of our evolving platform.
  • Using prototypes, systems thinking, and strong communication to align Product, Engineering, Business Development, and go-to-market partners around a shared direction.
  • Mentoring other designers and helping raise the quality and effectiveness of design across multiple workstreams.

You'll be successful in this role if you have...
  • Meaningful experience leading end-to-end product design for complex or ambiguous problem spaces, ideally across B2B products, platforms, service environments, or consultative client engagements.
  • A strong consultative mindset, with experience working across multiple companies, clients, or partner stakeholders and using design to support strategic conversations.
  • Strong visual, interaction, and systems design craft, with the ability to move between polished execution and exploratory concepting.
  • A track record of using prototypes and artifacts to clarify product vision, influence roadmaps, and help external or internal stakeholders imagine future possibilities.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, connecting dots across related workstreams, and bringing clarity to complex problems with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring peers and raising the quality bar beyond your own direct work.
  • Curiosity about AI-assisted workflows and openness to working in code-enabled design environments when it helps the team learn or move faster.

Benefits:
  • Flexible, hybrid work environment at our convenient Soho location
  • Unlimited Vacation
  • 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
  • Commuter Benefits
  • 401(k) with employer funded match
  • Corporate wellness programs with Headspace and Peloton
  • Sabbatical leave (for employees with 5+ years of service)
  • Competitive paid parental leave and fertility/family planning reimbursement
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Catered lunch everyday along with beverages and snacks
  • Employee Resource Groups and ZocClubs to promote shared community and belonging
  • Great Place to Work Certified
