Description

We are currently seeking experienced Lead Production Operators to work in the Gulf of Mexico. You will serve as a key role with your knowledge and experience in operating a variety of surface production equipment, compressors, pumps, generators, PLC, and pneumatic control panels. You will be required to perform well testing, platform maintenance, operate wells, operate platform, along with performing testing and inspection of safety systems and equipment as required by law and customer policy.

Requirements

Job Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Understand Process Flow Diagrams, Safe Charts, EPA, NPDES, and BOEM/BSEE requirements in addition to CFR/API Requirements
  • Familiar with pertinent State and Federal regulations as well as the operation of PLC systems
  • Possess strong working knowledge of chemical additives, wellhead, downhole equipment, and artificial life methods
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and rotating power equipment required for an oil and gas production facility
  • Strong troubleshooting skills needed to maintain and increase production as well as knowledge of basic mathematics and how to apply it to work duties
  • Versatile in all aspects of oil and gas production operations with the capability of initiating methods to improve production
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, costs, and other techniques for maximizing production operations
  • Experience in leading or working in a group to meet job objectives on time and within budget as well as the ability to understand customer needs and assume responsibility for customer satisfaction
  • Ability to plan logistics for transporting parts and personnel in a cost-effective manner
  • Must be U.S. Citizen or Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship
  • Have 7+ years of experience
  • Willing to work rotation 14/14
  • Rate Paid to be determined by qualifications, skills, work history and results of interview
  • Must have Skills, Knowledge, and current Training certificates in Offshore Production Operations. Operate Oil, Gas, Water, Enhanced Recovery, Export, Process and Consumer Utilities Systems and Processes.
  • Maintain and Test Emergency Shutdown Valves, Instrumented Protection Systems, Fired Equipment, compressors and generators, separators, Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessels and Other Process Equipment.
  • Monitor and Control Hydrocarbon Process Activities, Safety System Checks, Product Material Sampling, Tank Vessel Drainage and Operation, Inspect, Test and Maintain Piping Systems, run pigs, test wells, take production readings, and shakeouts. Operate crane and lifting including rigging and slinging, and Plan and Prepare for Emergency Response.
  • BSEE testing and paperwork, and production reports. Participate in all safety meetings and JSA processes.
