Qualifications

• 8-10 years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Okta engineering and administration
• Strong expertise in Okta Identity Cloud and Okta Identity Engine
• Proficient in Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management
• Experience automating processes with Okta Workflows
• Familiar with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM for integrations
• Knowledgeable in integrating with Active Directory, Azure AD, and enterprise applications
• Understanding of RBAC, user provisioning/deprovisioning, and IAM best practices
• Skilled in REST APIs and application integrations
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, configuration, and support of the Okta Identity Cloud platform
• Configure and manage Okta Identity Engine, Universal Directory, SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management policies
• Implement application integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM
• Develop and maintain Okta Workflows for automating user lifecycle and access management
• Integrate Okta with Active Directory, Azure AD, and other enterprise applications
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and access policies
• Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, and integration issues providing Level 2/Level 3 support
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and optimization
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to onboard new apps and implement IAM best practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
