Job Summary

The HR Business Partner will support regional business leaders across a multi-site industrial footprint by aligning people strategies with business priorities. This role is responsible for partnering with leaders to support talent, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and HR compliance across multiple locations. The HR Business Partner will build strong relationships with site and regional leadership, provide guidance on workforce matters, and help drive a consistent employee experience in support of business objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional and site leaders to support business goals across multiple industrial locations and translate business needs into people priorities.
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to leaders on employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational matters.
  • Support talent acquisition activities across assigned locations, including workforce planning, candidate evaluation, and hiring decision support.
  • Conduct employee relations reviews and investigations, provide recommendations, and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-through.
  • Coach leaders on performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback, employee development, and corrective action processes.
  • Support compensation and benefits-related processes by providing guidance informed by market conditions, internal practices, and business needs.
  • Identify training and development needs across sites and partner with leaders to support employee growth, leadership capability, and succession planning.
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics, including turnover, retention, absenteeism, and hiring activity, to support decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, employment practices, and legal requirements across assigned locations.
  • Maintain a visible and effective HR presence across the region and travel to sites as needed to support leaders and employees.
  • Partner across HR centers of excellence and business stakeholders to implement programs, initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Support change management efforts and organizational transitions across a distributed operational environment.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience supporting business leaders and employees.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operations-based environment preferred.
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent support, and HR policy application required.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft 365 required.

This role supports a regional, multi-site industrial client group and requires strong partnership with leaders across plant, operational, and functional teams. The role operates with a high degree of collaboration and must balance strategic support with responsive day-to-day HR execution. The position requires the ability to navigate varied workforce needs, maintain consistency in HR practices, and support business performance across multiple locations.

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
