Versant is looking for a Lead, HR Operations, Talent to join their team! The Lead, HR Operations, Talent will oversee and evolve our Recruiting, Onboarding, and Talent Development programs. This role will play a key part in building and operationalizing our talent function, ensuring that we attract, integrate, and grow top-tier talent across the organization. You'll partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR colleagues to implement processes that are scalable, inclusive, and aligned with our creative culture.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting
  • Develop and lead full-cycle recruitment operations to attract top talent across creative, corporate, and technical roles.
  • Build and manage scalable processes and tools to support high-volume and strategic hiring.
  • Partner with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and develop proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Cultivate a strong employer brand through strategic partnerships, campaigns, and candidate experience initiatives.

Onboarding
  • Design and implement an exceptional onboarding experience that fosters early connection, culture assimilation, and role clarity.
  • Standardize onboarding processes across departments, while allowing for functional flexibility.
  • Monitor and continuously improve onboarding metrics, including time-to-productivity and new hire satisfaction.

Talent Development
  • Launch and lead talent development programs including performance management, learning & development, and career pathing.
  • Partner with leaders and HRBPs to identify skills gaps, succession plans, and high-potential talent.
  • Drive continuous feedback culture through engagement surveys, check-ins, and career development conversations.


Qualifications

What you'll need:
  • 7+ years of experience in HR, with a strong track record in recruiting, onboarding, and talent development; media or entertainment industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Deep understanding of inclusive hiring practices and employee engagement principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in HR systems (e.g., SAP, etc.) and data-driven decision making.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible).
