Position Description:CGI is seeking a strong Fullstack Solution Architect. The candidate will rely on their growing technical skills and experience to solution, design, architect, estimate, and deliver technical solutions with clean, well organized and expressive code to CGI's customer base. The candidate will be working with our client to understand their business needs and help deliver value though technology. The candidate should we very articulate about the technologies that come into play and capable of providing direction on this space to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design end to end architectures for large scale enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Angular, event driven platforms, databases, APIs, and modern front end technologies.
Define reusable architecture patterns, coding standards, integration standards, security controls, and engineering best practices.
Evaluate technology options and document architectural decisions, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, risks, and trade offs.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, security standards, data governance policies, and application modernization objectives.
Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, technical assessments, and production readiness reviews.
Balance long term architecture objectives with delivery timelines and immediate business priorities
Requirements:
Overall 10+ years in Information Technology/Software Engineering and Lead the end to end architecture and development of application
. Hands on experience in solution design and architecting application.
. Excellent communication skills
. 5+ Hands On experience in designing and building Microservices & REST API's. (SOAP and REST web service development)
. 5+ Hand on Experience with HTML, CSS and Frameworks such as Angular, React.Js, Node.JS, and EXPRESS
. Hands on experience in programming in more than one object oriented programming language: JAVA, JavaScript, Spring Boot and Spring Batch applications
. Experience with distributed caching, event driven and streaming frameworks (Kafka)
. Knowledge and understanding of relational and non relational databases (Oracle SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL, MngoDB)
. Knowledge of DevOps best practices.(OCP)
. Exhibit the desire to lead and mentor other developers on and across teams.
. Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage.
. Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
. Portray best practices for database design and development activities.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $198,400.00.
