Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Data Analytics.
  • Experience developing and implementing risk management frameworks and programs, including facilitating risk assessment or risk and control self assessments.
  • Experience bringing structure to an ambiguous environment and analyzing fragmented inputs to synthesize key attributes and deliver balanced, effective recommendations and outcomes.
  • Experience influencing cross-functionally with leadership-level audiences.
  • Experience in technology industry risk management or compliance.

About the job

The Alphabet Enterprise Risk Management team's mission is to improve risk accountability and transparency across Google through a common governance framework and aligned risk management practices.

In this role, you will ensure the effectiveness of the enterprise risk frameworks by supporting organization wide risk programs, identifying and assessing risks and tracking mitigation progress. You will engage with leaders across the company and drive sustainable risk management practices through stakeholder collaboration and targeted training initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$197,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  • Consult with cross-functional stakeholders on mitigation activities, key risk indicators and metrics.
  • Implement processes and technological solutions to provide transparency and visibility into key risk trends, issues and resolution status for executive leadership.
  • Prepare summary reports for various levels of management, including executive and board-level audiences.
  • Develop and maintain co-ordination with global cross-functional teams including legal, finance and product area leadership.
