Responsibilities:As a Director of Data Science for Pharmacy Growth, you'll use your technical and product management expertise to drive strategic priorities from an analytics lens and advance AI innovation for pharmacy. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of AI/ML and effective leadership to inspire the team, align cross-functional stakeholders, engage senior leadership, and deliver business results.
• Drive and execute the short and long-term data science roadmap and vision in partnership with the pharmacy growth organization
• Oversee the development of analytics solutions that deploy advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence methods for a wide range of growth initiatives.
• Leverage technology depth to engage with key leaders across the enterprise to identify new applications of GenAI and AgenticAI
• Develop and present meaningful and insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations and go forward planning to guide a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and senior leadership
• Develop and mentor data scientists, contribute to their learning and training agenda, knowledge sharing, and provide input on technology stack

Required Qualifications- 7-10 years of work experience in healthcare or a related field. In depth understanding of safety and/or operations concepts and metrics in retail
- At least 6 years of experience in a leadership role, leading Data Science teams in a product-based organization
- Demonstrated expertise in optimization techniques, GenAI, ML modeling, and statistical analysis applied to large scale prescription dispensing datasets
- Strong Python, R, and SQL skills, proficiency in working with large datasets,
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred QualificationsExcellent project management skills with ability to lead and engage in multiple projects and initiatives and appropriately, prioritize her/his own time as well as that of the direct reports, and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines.
Education- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as management science, operations research, economics, statistics, engineering, data science, or computer science
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
