What is the opportunity?

The Lead Digital Product Manager - Everyday Value is a role within our Everyday Rewards team, responsible for delivering a suite of compelling loyalty products to engage merchants and members within the Avion ecosystem. This currently includes Linked Loyalty, Avion Offers, and ShopPlus - our shopping browser extension.

The Lead Digital Product Manager will be responsible for aligning to the Everyday Value strategy, and for managing the product, roadmap, and associated P&L. In this capacity, they will act as the subject matter expert, to oversee the delivery of key initiatives. They will prioritize delivering the best possible product and value to Avion merchants and members, and will proactively identify and execute on new opportunities to evolve our offering and capabilities

What will you do?

Design & Expand Avion Everday Value Program
  • Act as expert of program capabilities to ensure proactive planning of enhancements with digital delivery
  • Collaborate with senior management teams and merchant sales/relationship to understand merchant demands for new campaign structure/models
  • Work closely with product, design, and technology partners to deliver a cohesive member journey
  • Review/sign off on all business requirements documentation including the coordination of all approvals prior to the execution of program changes
  • Work closely with digital delivery teams to lead all new business development enhancements and capabilities
  • Act as the lead to prioritize all program enhancements


Execute/Deliver multiple phases of product management
  • Interact with senior business and product management to understand business objectives on the merchant solutions & prioritization to align priority of deliverables.
  • Supports Director in planning and prioritization of deliverables
  • Follows all personal client data governance policies that aligns to and support Canadian Banking business strategies and priorities
  • Ensure corporate reputation is maintained by strict adherence to privacy guidelines and ethics, data usage of client data, privacy guidelines and governance policies and processes.
  • Responsible for development of complex program enhancements, integrating and leveraging learnings from past and post deliverables
  • Help articulate and execute on shared OKRs and KPIs for Loyalty outcomes
  • Be the voice of the client value stream in various internal forums


Program Insights/Analytics & Enhancements:
  • Act as expert of program capabilities to ensure proactive planning of enhancements with digital product management.
  • Builds go to market strategies based on new enhancements & program insights
  • Act as Peer coach and shares best practice with team
  • Train and mentor new team members, as needed


What do you need to succeed?

Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in building digital products from strategy to execution
  • Experience in loyalty and e-commerce is valued
  • Demonstrated proactive leadership in a cross functional environment
  • Strong business acumen and strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to conceptualize
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively through impact and influence in a cross functional environment
  • Attention to detail, organization, ability to multi task and time management is critical
