Job DescriptionAbout the Team & Business Line:Within the Transformation Office, Research & Development (R&D) is a multidisciplinary team that delivers immediate value to Citco and its clients by creating innovative solutions and proofs of concept for evolving business needs. Through market analysis and in-depth research, the team identifies opportunities aligned with Citco's and its clients' strategic objectives. R&D collaborates with stakeholders to advance innovation, improve efficiency, strengthen competitiveness, and develop new products and services.
ResponsibilitiesYour Role:The Lead Developer within the Transformation Office's R&D team will provide technical leadership for AI-enabled solutions supporting a strategic Fund Services transformation program using Sigma, the cloud-native analytics and reporting product from Sigma Computing. The role will integrate cloud data, AI, machine learning, and Sigma-based analytics capabilities while providing design authority, delivery ownership, mentoring, and production-readiness oversight.
- Assess business processes and identify opportunities for AI-enabled optimization
- Design architectures integrating AI capabilities with Sigma-based analytics and reporting solutions
- Enable advanced analytics and insights by combining cloud data platforms, AI services, and Sigma
- Design and implement solutions using AWS services, UiPath, Databricks, and other cloud platforms
- Develop and optimize machine learning models, including LLMs and conversational AI systems
- Establish technical standards, MLOps practices, code-review expectations, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead PoCs and pilots from feasibility through production readiness
- Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory, security, and responsible AI requirements
- Own the end-to-end solution lifecycle, including monitoring, maintenance, and support
- Guide and mentor developers and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

QualificationsAbout You:- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
- 5+ years of professional software-development experience, including substantial AI/ML delivery experience
- Experience with AWS AI/ML services, LLMs, NLP, and conversational AI
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, and modern ML frameworks
- Track record of successful AI project delivery in enterprise environments
- Ability to provide technical leadership within a multidisciplinary team
Assets:- Hands-on experience with Sigma
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions with enterprise analytics and reporting products
- Experience supporting cloud-based analytics ecosystems
- AWS, Azure, or machine-learning certification
- Knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
Salary Range: CAD $108,000 - CAD $140,000
